My hubby and I stumbled upon the Trading Post Smokehouse while riding to see fall foliage. We both had pulled pork sandwiches that were huge. They were so big that we would have been full splitting one. As sides, I had the potato salad and he had macaroni and cheese and both were very good. The sides portions were, also, large and neither of us were able to finish them. If you are in the area, I recommend giving them a try. They, also, sell some beautiful outside wooden furniture. I love the tall cypress gliders and am adding them to my list for Santa.

Can't stop thinking about this BBQ. Seriously! I stayed a night in rising fawn and had the pleasure of stumbling onto this little gem. I ordered a full slab of ribs and some pulled pork and I couldn't believe how good it was. I ate the entire slab that night (it was HUGE) no regrets. The staff was friendly and helpful and I got my meal fast and hot. Stop in for some of the greatest BBQ you'll have.

No day exploring Lookout Mtn is complete without stopping here for lunch! Phenomenal BBQ, amazing sides, southern sweet tea with a twang and all at amazing prices. While you wait for your food enjoy rocking in a chair or glider and breathing in that fresh mountain air. If you like greens I highly recommend their collard greens, some of the best I've ever had!

We just love stopping by this smokehouse bbq restaurant for some always awesome food and BBQ sandwiches, especially after a simi-long drive down south to DeSoto Falls State Park in Alabama. The owner came outside to chatter with us as we ate so delicious house made coleslaw, chicken salad sandwich and a bbq brisket sandwich. Yummy yum stuff perfect for a winter day sitting in the sun as we're making our way back north to Chickamauga. Highly recommend stopping in for some great food and fellowship!

We got some BBQ sandwiches to-go and took them back to the yurt we had rented. I got slaw on mine with corn on the cob for my side. The staff were friendly and I also got some delicious BBQ pork rinds. I would come here again.

I came across this awesome place today! The ribs were moist, tender and very flavorful. The slaw was extremely tasty. The baked beans were very interesting. They have an incredibly flavorful spin on baked beans. The restaurant is extremely clean and appealing. The health department score was 100! This was my fourth different BBQ restaurant stop this week in Northwest Georgia and was hands down the best! The owner was very friendly. Overall it was great! I can't wait to go back and try the brisket.

Stopped by for lunch and got a tour of the building and behind the scenes. Absolutely fantastic BBQ but as good as the food are the owners. Highly recommend if you’re at cloudland state park or Mclemore.

We shared the ribs barbecue plate and it was perfect for two. The size of the sides and meat is very generous and yummy. We picked potato salad and coleslaw were our sides and they were very good. Plate came with a delicious toast. I want to highlight the barbecue sauce; it was not sweet and had a spicy kick. We loved it. As now the place has a small room to dinning-in with two big picnic tables, and we had it to ourselves. It was clean and very comfortable. Service was very friendly.
